I used the program adiabat to calculate the An of crystalizing plagioclase from basaltic melt. How could I know the accuracy of the results?
Thank you!

Ordinarily, this is an area in which MELTS is quite well-calibrated and you should expect the results to be good to within a couple % (absolute) or better. Of course, if your composition or conditions are unusual, you may be moving away from the well-calibrated region. But, as always, the best way to know is to do some relevant tests where there is direct experimental data for comparison. You can quickly obtain a set of reference data from experiments by searching LEPR (lepr.ofm-research.org), or look up your favorite experimental study involving plagioclase crystallization from a liquid similar to yours.
