Version 1.9 was posted on October 22nd

The most important change in this version was the introduction of a package for 64-bit machines running Linux. The check for updates feature has been overhauled. A restart_file 'seed' capability to help work around problems with phase metastability was incorporated and a number of other minor fixes and additions made.

A small mistake in the implementation of the ADIABAT_CELSIUS_OUTPUT environment variable was noted today and will be fixed in a future update. Similarly a very minor bug in run_adiabat.pl (line 157) has been detected, as described in the errata; a link to the corrected file is also given there.
