alphaMELTS versions 1.5 and 2.0 (beta) have tab-completion within the alphamelts menu, if Richard Kettlewell's with-readline program is installed. The with-readline program is distributed under the terms of the Gnu Public License.

On Linux, you will need to download the source code and unpack it by typing "tar xvfz with-readline-0.1.1.tar.gz". Follow the instructions in the README to build and install the program in the default location (i.e. /usr/local/bin/with-readline). Installing requires administrator access.

Finally, run alphaMELTS' update.command script, choosing your links_folder location when asked and defaults for the other questions. This will add a link to the with-readline program that the run_alphamelts.command script will look for. Any problems, just let me know.
