To all,

The countdown has begun! It just under 5 days until the deadline for early bird registration and abstract submission to the inaugural Forming and Exploring Habitable Worlds Meeting in Edinburgh. This deadline is at midnight UK-time on April 22nd. The event itself is taking place over the week beginning November 7th 2022.

The are thankful to all those who have already submitted their abstracts and completed their registration and booking.

All interested parties are reminded:

• Information intended to be helpful is available from the meeting's website, including guidance for travel planning and an ethos statement where COVID-cautious measures, a friendly and respectful environment, as well as reasons for a zero provision of meeting-supported alcohol are summarised.

• Delegates wishing to participate through virtual access are urged to register as soon as possible, and to also familiarise themselves with page 16 of the indicative programme.
• There will be an interactive panel discussion concerning community study directions on the Thursday of this meeting's week (Nov. 10th). This panel with ample time for question and answers with the community includes Professor Hasnaa Chennaoui Aoudjehane (Hassan II University of Casablanca & ATTARIK Foundation), Professor Jamie Gilmour (UK Cosmochemical Analysis Network & U of Manchester), Assist. • Plus, our bursary provisions can help support those not yet in secure positions who wish to attend the short course retreat to Gartmore House in Stirlingshire. All facets of the Gartmore House retreat are designed to benefit those building their careers in academia and beyond.
