Logistics

Information and a link to the registration form will be added later. In the meantime, please address any queries to the workshop organizer, Ioannis Baziotis.

Room and board

Participants will be able to book accommodation at a preferred workshop rate for five nights - arrival on Sunday 12th Sept, 2020 for five nights, and checking out on Friday 18th Sept. Participants will need to pay for the accommodation and then submit a claim to EGU. Hotel details will be posted soon, together with the procedure for reimbursement by EGU.

Ferry and flight schedules will mean that some participants may need to book an extra night's accommmodation in order to attend Friday's fieldtrip. We will add more information about this soon.

Transportation

Attendees should make their own arrangements for travel to and from the island of Milos. This will generally involve flying into Athens airport, transfer to the port of Piraeus (allow ~2 hours), and ferry to the island of Milos. There are approximately three ferries per day, which can be booked in advance; see the links to the right for more details.

Subsistence

Refreshments will be provided during the workshop for all participants. Meals are not covered but there are plenty of inexpensive places to eat, so you should allow approximately 30 € per day for subsistence.
