MELTS_Excel fails to run

    I am a chinese user. I downloaded the latest version "MELTS_Excel-2025Nov01" from the link "https://melts.ofm-research.org/excel.html",  but it does not seem to work.
    When I run the default " Equilibrate" settings, Excel pops up the prompt: "Server returned no results, giving up!".

I just tried it and it worked fine (once I followed the link to enable macros).

So far as I know all the people seeing this error with recent versions of MELTS_Excel are outside the U.S. I did try to find out more about whether there are any restrictions on connecting to the newer server but without success (see a similar thread here).

If you want to use Excel but without needing the runtime internet connection, you could try Einari Suikkanen's easyMelts software (see https://github.com/magmasource/MAGMA). I just posted a new version last week. The Wiki is a little out of date but I'll be working on that soon. If you have any queries in the meantime, just let me know.
